From 24th till 29th March, Mr. Karzai visited Doha to attend the Doha Forum and hold meetings with different actors. Mr. Karzai met with Jasper Wieck, Germany Special Envoy for Afghanistan, Amb Deborah Lyons, UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, H.E. Mohammed Bin Messnad, National Security Advisor of Qatar, Amb Ole Andreas Lindman, Norwegian Ambassador to Afghanistan, Saad Mohsini, Director of Moby Group and Fatima Ghailani, former Republic negotiator. Mr. Karzai briefed those he met about CAPS and its activities noting the legal and research work. The UN-SRSG and the Qatar NSA took keen interest in CAPS’ work.
