It has come to the attention of the Centre for Conflict and Peace Studies (CAPS) leadership that an unofficial document, focusing on the Islamic State Khurasan Province (ISKP) has been published and circulated under the CAPS name.
This document is not an official CAPS research product. It was not commissioned, supervised, or endorsed by CAPS’ leadership and does not reflect the methodology, editorial standards, or institutional views of CAPS.
Our initial review strongly suggests this analysis was drafted and disseminated by a former researcher, acting in an individual capacity and without authorization, in direct violation of our procedures governing the use of the CAPS name and logo.
CAPS formally and fully disavows this unauthorized publication. CAPS reiterates its strong commitment to rigorous and independent research conducted through proper institutional channels.
