(BNA):  A police ranger was targeted by armed gunmen in the Arghandi Paen area of ​​ Paghman yesterday. Kabul police spokesman Ferdows Faramarz confirmed the incident in the Arghandi area. In this incident, two members of the police were martyred and another policeman was wounded and a fire broke out in the area, destroyed their vehicle. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.  Security sources have repeatedly warned of Taliban insurgency in the Kabul district. Yesterday, two imported electricity poles were destroyed in the same district. Another report says, gunmen attacked a security checkpoint in Chehel Dokhtaran area in Kabul’s 13th district last night. The attack did not cause any casualties, but checkpoint several shops and several houses around it were damaged.
