On 25 October 2020, MitsujiSuzuka, Ambassador of Japan, held a farewell meeting with Mr. Karzai, Chairman of CAPS.  In the meeting, Mr. Karzai thanked Ambassador Suzuka for his support and friendship with CAPS and for strengthening Afghan/Japanese ties. Amb Suzuka mentioned to Mr. Karzai that Japan is a good friend of Afghanistan and will continue to be of assistance to the Afghan people. Mr. Karzai also provided an update to the Ambassador on where the on-going talks were and what the specific hurdles were.
