(BNA): Maidan Wardak local police sources reported a Taliban attack on a public order police base in the province.
According to BNA, local police sources say that the Taliban first used a car bomb and detonated police station in Kota Ashrawi area of the province. The Taliban wanted to attack the checkpoint after the blast but were suppressed by police resistance. The exact number of casualties of the attackers has not been clarified yet. Several public order soldiers are said to have been wounded in the attack.
