(BNA): A terrorist was killed by shelling of Security Forces (SF) in Helmand province yesterday. The assailant along with his colleague wanted to assassinate a military officer in Lashkargah city that was identify and targeted by security forces. General Ihsamuddin Helmandi police official of Helmand told BNA, the assailant was killed and the second was escaped, two pistols were seized from the killed assailant. In the recent years, Helmand has witnessed and assassination of local military, officers and tribal elders.
