;JALALABAD CITY (BNA) Afghan security forces by launching a military operations succeeded to suppress severely Taliban fighters in eastern Nangarhar province. The military operation has started 10 days ago by participation of hundreds Afghan army and police personnel with support of Afghan air forces in various parts of Shirzad district, Nangarhar. Senior commander of Afghan national army in Sylab army corps in the east of the country told BNA correspondent, recently 21 members of Taliban group including four commanders and six Pakistani residents were killed during the military operation. Dozens villages have been cleared from existence of anti-government militias and the operation will be continued until the district completely cleared from being of armed oppositions, the source added. Hundreds various type of mines belonged to the terrorists have been discovered and naturalized by Afghan security forces during the military operation so far.
