(KHAAMA PRESS): The Afghan forces ousted Taliban militants from the outskirts of Pul-e Khumri city, inflicting heavy casualties on militants during the clearance operations. Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said the security forces suppressed the Taliban militants in all three locations of the city where they had launched attacks. Rahimi further added that the Taliban militants retreated to Cement Khana area of Baghlan which is located far outside the city of Pul-e Khumri. Furthermore, Rahimi said the security forces killed 21 Taliban militants and wounded 13 others during the operations. The security forces also arrested 8 Taliban militants during the same operations, Rahimi added.
