(Afghanistan times) KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai condemned with the strongest terms an airstrike conducted by the US air force in Logar province. The attack was launched on residential areas, according to witnesses, who said several civilians including women and children were killed and injured. Karzai once again called for an immediate stop of military operations across the country, emphasizing on the acceleration of intra-Afghan dialogues to put an end to the long war. The former president wished paradise for the dead, patience for their survivors and quick recovery for the wounded.
