Nine people were injured in a bomb blast that took place outside a home in this capital city of eastern Nangarhar province late Friday, the governor’s house said in a statement.
The statement said the blast occurred in front of a home in Karez Kabir area of Jalalabad at around 8pm.
Zahir Adil, the provincial Public Health Department spokesman, told Pajhwok that the injured included women and children. Two of the injured were in critical condition, he said.
There was no claim of responsibility for the blast
