(Pajhwok): One person was killed and two others were wounded as a result of magnetic bomb blast in southeastern Khost province on Tuesday, an official said.
Police spokesman Adel Haidar told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place in the Speen Jumat area of Khost City, the provincial capital, at around 8am.
He said the bomb attached to a civilian vehicle went off, killing one individual and injuring two others.
A source, wishing anonymity, said the victim was a border police official. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
