(Pajhwok): At least 50 people were injured as a result of car bombing in 6th police district of Kabul on Wednesday morning, an official said.
Nasrat Rahimi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI), said that an explosives-packed vehicle targeted 6th police district center at around 9:30am.
According to Rahimi, at least 50 injured were shifted to Kabul hospitals.
Eyewitness said that gun fires could also be heard in the area after the powerful bombing.
Wahidullah Mayar, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health, said around 34 injured had been evacuated to hospitals so far.
