(BNA): National Security and Defense forces Day was celebrated in Kunar last night. Hundreds of tribal elders and Islamic scholars, students, activists, and local officials were attended in the ceremony. The tribal elders at the ceremony praised the military’s dedication of security forces for people and safeguarding national sovereignty and the country’s complete integrity, asked the people to stand with their troops. Islamic scholars in their speeches in the ceremony, considered supporting the military as a moral and religious ethos. At the end of the ceremony, the participants took the roads of Asadabad and consulted with the local military and donated flowers.
