(BNA): Police chief of Balkh said that during the last week 120 Taliban insurgents were killed in clearing operations of Shaheen 209 army corps in that province. Ajamal Fayez police chief of Balkh told BNA, 120 armed Taliban were killed and their strongholds have been demolished in the operations. Fayez added that the security situation in Balkh is better than a month ago, because during this time more than 80 suspects were detained with 20 stolen vehicles.
