(BNA): Zabul, Shahjou District witnesses last night’s heaviest battle between invaders and army troops. The battle followed the Taliban’s attack on army troops. Atal army corps in south of the country with releasing a statement said, eight Taliban and three army troops were killed in the clash. National Army soldiers said that two local commanders of Taliban with their six colleagues were killed in the conflict. Taliban have not said anything so far. Another report says, police discovered and defused eight mines from busy roads of the province and prevented from a series of blasts. Security officials of the province blamed Taliban for the failed mine planting.
