{"id":3206,"date":"2020-11-29T05:34:38","date_gmt":"2020-11-29T05:34:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.caps.af\/?p=3206"},"modified":"2020-11-29T05:34:38","modified_gmt":"2020-11-29T05:34:38","slug":"doha-yields-agreement-on-ground-rules-intra-afghan-negotiations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/caps.af\/?p=3206","title":{"rendered":"Doha Yields Agreement on Ground Rules: Intra-Afghan Negotiations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\"><strong>(KHAAMA Press): DOHA, Qatar \u2013 The Afghan and Taliban negotiating teams have agreed on the procedural rules after months of struggle, said Mohammad Naeem Wardar, a spokesman for Taliban\u2019s political office in Qatar, Saturday evening.<\/strong><br \/>\nThis came days after an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.khaama.com\/peace-process-and-taliban-vision-for-afghanistan-exclusive-34534\/\">exclusive interview with Khaam Press Wardak said<\/a>\u00a0the Afghan and Taliban negotiating teams met on peace dialogues but had not yet reached to any agreement, denying\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.khaama.com\/doha-talks-bear-result-after-months-of-struggle-on-procedural-rule-44443\/\">reports that Doha talks have agreed on procedural rules. <\/a>While reports on such a breakthrough has been circulating around for weeks now, the spokesman confirmed on Saturday that both side of the negotiations \u201cfinalized\u201d an agreement in 21 articles on November 15; but did not make any formal announcement prior to this report. \u201c\u2026negotiations between the negotiating teams was completed and finalised in 21 articles on the 15th of November 2020,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IeaOffice\/status\/1332689427576057859\">he said in a tweet<\/a>. \u201cThe mentioned procedure was interpreted in the existence of the host\/facilitator country on 17th November 2020.\u201d<br \/>\nWardar also said a copy of the agreement \u201cwas handed over to the host\/facilitator country\u201d soon after both side of the negotiation agreed on terms and condition that can potentially lead to the main talks \u2013 the intra-Afghan negotiations on peace in Afghanistan.
