(Pajhwok): Police have seized an explosives-laden vehicle in western Herat province, an official said on Tuesday.
\nPolice spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizada told Pajhwok Afghan News that the explosives-packed Mazda vehicle was found in Cheshti Sharif district late on Monday.
\nDifferent types of weapons were also recovered from the vehicles besides the explosives, he said, adding that two suspects had been detained in connection with the seizure.
\nAccording to Walizada, the suspects wanted to transfer the explosives to militants. The detainees were handed over to detective organs, he added.<\/p>\n
