The course was attended by Major General Robert W. Cone commanding general of CSTC-A, his six one star generals and other directors.<\/p>\n<table width=\"223\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"100%\"><strong><em>Related Article:<\/em><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"100%\">CSTC-A Warriors Learn About Peace<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"100%\">The senior leadership of Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A) recently attended an all-day seminar at Camp Eggers to learn more about Afghanistan from the Centre for Conflict and Peace Studies (CAPS) experts.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dvidshub.net\/index.php?script=news\/news_show.php&amp;id=12673\">Read\u00a0Full\u00a0Article&#8230;<\/a><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>CAPS was recommend by General McNeil, COMISAF to CSTC-A as one of the leading Afghan institution that can deliver professional training.<\/p>\n<p>The training covered five particular areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>History and Revolutions: tough terrain, tough history, tough people (Roots of the Struggle: from 1979 to present);<\/li>\n<li>Insurgency and Counter- insurgency: An Afghan Perspective<\/li>\n<li>Al Qaeda: Franchising Global Jihad.<\/li>\n<li>The Afghan Culture: Understanding the Afghan Mindest, Honour Code and Every day Culture.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding Islam<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The training was well received and appreciated by the participants.
