China says it has no military presence in Afghanistan
KABUL (Pajhwok): China has no military presence in Afghanistan’s Wakhan Corridor, a spokesman for the defence ministry in Beijing says.
Ren Guoqiang issued the denial at a monthly media briefing, reiterating China’s commitment to efforts for regional
Chinese military vehicles have reportedly been operating in the corridor in the Hindu Kush mountains near Tajikistan.
In February, according to AP, the Washington Post reported on a sizeable Chinese military complex. However, the troops' mission remains hazy.
