Shepherd, his 92 sheep die in Takhar traffic accident

TALOQAN (Pajhwok): A shepherd and his as many as 92 sheep have died in a traffic accident in northeastern Takhar province, an official said on Tuesday.
Jawad Hijri, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident happened in Taloqan bridge area at around 3:00am on Monday night.
He said the shepherd and his 92 sheep were killed in the crash involving a 303 model bus, the diver of which had been arrested.
Meanwhile, Hakimullah, a resident of the area, also confirmed the incident to Pajhwok and said he saw dozens of sheep were lying dead on the road this morning.
