Andrabi appointed new acting interior minister

(Pajhwok): former spymaster Gen. Masood Andrabi has been appointed as acting interior minister, a government source said on Monday.
The reliable national unity government (NUG)’s source told Pajhwok Afghan News that President Ashraf Ghani has appointed Andrabi as acting interior minister and later he would be introduced to the Wolesi Jirga for a vote of confidence.
The source did not provide further details in this regard. The interior minister’s post fell vacant after former acting interior minister Amrullah Saleh resigned in January to contest the presidential election.
