PTM lawmaker welcomes Ghani's statement

PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leader has welcomed President Ashraf Ghani statement on a crackdown on Pakhtun protestors.
On Thursday, Ghani voiced concern at the arrest of PTM members protesting the killing of a senior PTM leader in Balochistan.
Ghani’s criticism has triggered an angry reaction from the Pakistani government, which slammed the Afghan leader’s remarks as gross interference in its internal affairs. .
But lawmaker Mohsin Dawar thanked the Afghan leader for supporting the group. He viewed Ghani’s tweet as a boost to PTM’s cause.
