KABUL (Pajhwok): Tajikistan mulls enhancing electricity exports to Afghanistan during the spring-summer season of the current year, says a media report.

Negotiations on the energy export spike between the officials concerned will take place in the first quarter this year, according to the Trend news agency

The ground for greater exports has been paved by rising electricity production in Tajikistan and growing demand in Afghanistan. Tajikistan’s power production peaks out in spring and summer.
