Turkey: 21 illegal Afghan migrants injured in accident

KABUL (Pajhwok): More than 20 illegal Afghan migrant, including women, were wounded in a traffic mishap in Turkey on Tuesday.

Three women were among the Afghans injured when the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a ditch in the Diyadin district of Ağrı province.

According to the state-run Anadolu Agency, the injured were evacuated to hospital in Diyadin. Seventeen of them were discharged after receiving medical care.

The remaining four were taken to another hospital in Ağrı, where security forces launched an operation to nab the driver who fled after the accident.
