JALALABAD (Pajhwok): An alleged suicide bomber was among seven rebel suspects intelligence forces have detained during separate operations in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said Monday.
The detainees included fighters loyal to Lashkar-i- Islami, Daesh and Taliban insurgents, said Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman.
The suspects were paraded before media persons at the provincial National Directorate of Security. A video clip was also shared with the journalists, in which the detainees are confessing to their intending crimes.
Daesh and the Taliban have not yet commented about the arrests.
Meanwhile, intelligence officials caught ‘red handed’ an official of the provincial Breshna Shirkat, Mirwais while accepting 30,000 afghanis in bribe.
